| A Soviet hero unit. It comes in several stages:
- The original Chinese design, completed by Russian engineers, has a 220mm artillery gun.
- The Chinese later added anti-aircraft guns on top of the walker.
- To keep in line with the "unconventional warfare" doctrine, the Soviets later replaced the 220mm gun with a smaller 100mm nuclear artillery cannon. Though the Chinese anti-aircraft guns were turret-mounted, they were retained, because the Peace Treaty did only state the Soviet Union was not to possess tanks with turrets having more than one gun - there had been no restrictions on mechs.
- A rumored experimental version exists which mounts a railgun, delivering a far greater output than a large-calibre conventional gun while having a small caliber.
