The Panther is the basic Nazi tank. It may be dated, but has an efficient gun that fires AP ammunition still capable of piercing every type of vehicle armor in use today, for example while having a smaller gun than the Soviet T-55, it can still defeat that tank in a tank-to-tank battle because the T-55's HE shells are useless against armor, but the Panther can punch cleanly through the T-55's armor with its own shells, while at the same time being faster than the T-55 and any potentially dangerous tank design, such as the Kharkov Tank.
